Top Goal Scorers in History of La Liga

              With the start of the 86th season La Liga on 21 August 2016 it’s all football these days. Various records have been made in all 85 seasons of The Primera Division and many are being made as we speak of it. But what remains the most important in all of them after talking about who won the season is the biggest scorer of the season.  Do you know ,there were 383 goals scored in the first season of La Liga and 1043 in last year’s season. Here we have listed the top scores in the history of La Liga for you.

              Edmundo Suarez stands 10th in this list. The Spanish footballer and coach played for Valencia CF from 1939 to 1950 and for CD Alcoyano for his last season of 1950-51. He made all total 231 appearances and scored 195 goals in them. He was coach of Valencia CF for nearly 6 years and Valencia CF won the Copa del Rey in 1967 under his coaching.

              Pahiño was a Spanish footballer who played as a striker. He played for 3 clubs in La Liga which were Celta, Real Madrid and Deportivo. He played 278 goals in La Liga from these teams and scored 210 goals out of which 108 are from his tenure with Real Madrid.

              Quini  was considered as Spain’s best striker in his time. He won Pichichi Trophy awards  seven in his career. He scored 219 goals in La Liga. Barcelona’s 3000th goal in La Liga was scored by him.

              Telmo mostly played for Athletic Bilbao in his career for nearly 15 years. He is still the top scorer of Athletic Bilbao in competitive matches with 332 goals. And with a record of 81 goals in Copa del Ray, he is still the top scorer of the competition. He was a top goal scorer of the Spanish League for nearly six decades with 251 goals.

              The Portuguese captain is the only player in this list with more number of goals than appearances he made in the Spanish league. His scoring ratio is 1.10. He is also the fastest player to score 200 goals in La Liga which he did in 178 games. Ronaldo is also fastest to score 100 goals in the league. He has scored 260 goals in just 236 appearances. All of which are from Real Madrid.

              Everyone knows this man..!! This Argentine footballer is the only player in history to win five FIFA Ballons d’Or. With Barcelona, he has won eight La Liga titles and four Copa del Ray. He has made 349 appearances in La Liga till the end of season 2015-16. With goal score of 314, Lio remains the all-time top scorer in the history of La Liga. His scoring ratio stands at 0.9. He is most likely to remain first at this list for the ongoing 86th season of La Liga also.
